S3/Strategic Staffing Solutions has a Wind Turbine Technician opportunity for a leading Utilities Client in Blue Earth, MN!
Location: Blue Earth, MN
Duration: 12 months + possible extension
Pay Rate: $25/hr.
Qualifications & Description:
- 60%, Maintenance of Wind Turbine Fleet
- Diagnose and resolve faults on wind turbines as they relate to mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems
- Perform pad mounted Transformer switching in accordance with all Energy Isolation Procedures
- Perform small or large corrective tasks on wind turbines
- Work as scheduled during the week and on call as required by manager
- Climb 300 ft. plus several times daily
- Maintain a high level of safety awareness at all times
- Work in a outdoor environment for an extended period of time
- Operate equipment including but not limited to forklifts and grounds keeping equipment
- 20%, Compliance & Administrative Record Maintenance
- EH&S Documentation
- Complete necessary paperwork (work order, timesheet, tool and PPE inventory, and additional paperwork as necessary)
